Künstlerin, Illustratorin, Autorin.....1966 geboren in Dortmund, aufgewachsen in Kamen-Methler (genauer gesagt in Kaiserau, aber das ist nur für Sportler von Belang),  zum Studium an die Uni Köln (Kunst, Englisch, noch ein paar Semester Bio ). Lebe nun in Porta Westfalica, mit Mann, Kindern, Hund und Katze und zeichne, male und schreibe.  

 Meine Liebe gehört der Zeichnung. Erst mit einem Stift in der Hand fühle ich mich vollständig. Und wie ein Magier fühle ich mich, denn wenn ich das Gefühl habe, das Wesen (Mensch, Katze, Drache, Maus.......) wird jeden Moment vom Blatt hüpfen, ist mir die Zeichnung gelungen. 

Es geht mir um Lebendigkeit, nicht um Perfektion.

Artist, illustrator, author..... Born in Dortmund in 1966, brought up in Kamen-Methler, I´ve spent my University years in Cologne (Art, English and a few terms Biology). I now live in Porta Westfalica  below the Kaiser-Wilhelm Monument together with my husband, our two boys, a dog (smooth collie) and a cat. Here I draw, paint and write.

Drawing is my passion. Only with a sharp pencil in my hand I feel utterly complete. Whatever I´m drawing, be it woman, man, dragon or mouse, whenever I get that magic feeling that my creation is about to jump of the paper....my work is done.

It´s all about being alive, not perfection.
